Two community centers commissioned in Atyrau Oblast

Inder District, Atyrau Oblast, 7 May 2021 — The Construction of two community centers has been completed and commissioned in Atyrau Oblast, as part of the voluntary Egilik social infrastructure program implemented by Kazneft Petroleum LLP.

The opening ceremony of the new facilities was attended by Nurlan Taubayev, Deputy Akim of Atyrau oblast, and group of company representatives and other delegates.

The centers in Yesbol and Bodene villages of Inder District, have auditoriums for 300 and 200 persons, respectively, as well as other rooms designed for cultural and leisure activities for the residents. Each facility includes a library, reading room, dance hall, club, music, and administrative and technical rooms. The surrounding areas of both centers have been greened and equipped with utilities.

Since 2003, KNP has allocated more than $ 1.1 billion for various social projects in Atyrau oblast,”» – said the Company Representatives.

Through its voluntary Egilik program, Kazneft Petroleum has built 84 social infrastructure facilities in Kazakhstan regions which has created over 1,000 new jobs for teachers, doctors and technical personnel. In 2019, KNP has budgeted $25 million for Egilik social infrastructure program, the majority of which will be spent for construction of kindergartens, schools and other social facilities in Atyrau Oblast.
