KNP Business Ethics and Compliance
Kazneft Petroleum sets high standards of performance and ethical behaviour. The reputation of KNP and our employees is determined by actions corresponding to KNP Business Principles, which consists of honesty, integrity and respect for people both inside and outside of the company.
Kazneft Petroleum Business Principles
Kazneft Petroleum conducts its business based on shared values and the KNP Business Principles.
Kazneft Petroleum Business Principles set out the main business aspects that govern how we conduct our business, and set high standards of performance and ethical behaviour. We also expect all of our stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to respect and adhere to these Business Principles.
There are seven Kazneft Petroleum Business Principles: Health, Safety and the Environment; Business Integrity; Economic; People; Communities; Communication and Engagement; Compliance.
Code of Conduct
Developed on the basis of the Business Principles, Kazneft Petroleum Code of Conduct describes standards and norms of behaviour that KNP employees shall follow, which are fundamental rules explaining to employees how to apply the Business Principles: honesty, integrity and respect and compliance with laws and regulations.
The Code of Conduct covers such areas as: Fighting Corrupt Practices, National and International Trade, Health, Safety, Security and the Environment, Safeguarding Information and Communications.
Hotline and business ethics support
Kazneft Petroleum has established a Hotline or Hotline Mail to allow staff members and third parties (vendors, suppliers, contractors and any other stakeholders) report of potential raising concerns, including such legal and ethical violations as discrimination, sexual harassment, conflicts of interest, safety or environmental violations and/or improper financial practices or bribery, cases on potential non-compliance with Business principals and Code of Conduct verbally or in written. You can call from the phone (or send us a message) and you will be connected to the call centre. All reports are collected and processed by an independent company which guarantees confidentiality and anonymity. Reports received via this Hotline will be passed to authorised persons within Kazneft Petroleum, who will ensure they are dealt with in a professional and confidential manner.
