A New Associated Gas Utilization Plant Was Put Into Operation

On July 01 this year, a ceremony was held for the solemn commissioning of a new plant for the utilization and processing of associated petroleum gas from the Kenlyk field, owned by Kazneft Petroleum. The ceremony, in addition to the management and employees of the company, was attended by industry leaders, a delegation of local governments headed by Akim of the Kyzylorda region Bolatbek Bayanovich Kuandykov, representatives of the general contractor LLP "Munai Kurylys Service", public organizations, other honored guests, journalists.

The estimated cost of the implemented project was 4.7 billion tenge, the production capacity of the plant allows the processing of 100 million m3 of associated petroleum gas per year. At the same time, in the course of APG utilization using the advanced processing technology, the successful production of two types of high-quality products is ensured: 40 thousand tons per year of technical liquefied propane-butane (GOST 20448-90) and 8 thousand tons per year of gas stable gasoline (TU 39 -1340-89). The environmental component also plays an important role: with the commissioning of the new plant, harmful emissions into the atmosphere of evaporation of light fractions of oil are practically reduced to zero. Eliminates gas flaring, minimizes soil contamination due to oil spills, and ensures compliance with fire safety regulations.

The production infrastructure of the enterprise also includes power lines, a gas pipeline, storage tanks for gasoline and liquefied gas.

The plant is equipped with high-tech equipment manufactured by the well-known American company Red Mountain Energy Corp., as well as equipment from leading manufacturers from Russia, China, and Saudi Arabia.

Utilization of associated gas is fully profitable. As Kobeisin Nurken Ermuratuly, President of Kazneft Petroleum LLP, noted in an interview with media representatives, gas gasoline produced by the plant can be used for various purposes, for example, as a raw material for pyrolysis for petrochemical industries. As for the produced liquefied gas, it is extremely necessary as a fuel, including for domestic needs in the Kyzylorda and Shymkent regions. The wide demand for the plant's products is also due to its acceptable cost, since the company's management adheres to the principle of pricing based on a flexible approach and accessibility for each of the consumers.
